Apple Patents a Human-Eye Level Camera Sensor
Hey guys, welcome again to our new blog.
Thanks for your support!
Today we are going to talk about Apple company.
As you already know, Apple is a successful tech company.
So let’s not waste your time — let’s get into it!
Apple’s New Image Sensor
Apple has patented a new image sensor with 20 stops of dynamic range.
What is Dynamic Range?
Dynamic range is like the human eye — it helps us see both dark and light areas clearly.
For example, if you look into a cave with a black cat, your eyes can see it clearly.
But if you capture it with a camera, it may appear too dark or too light with noise.
This difference between dark and light is called dynamic range.
What Does 20 Stops Mean?
Stops are just a way to measure light.
Each stop either doubles or halves the light.
So 20 stops means the camera can handle very bright and very dark areas together — up to 20 levels of difference.
Current iPhones have about 12 to 13 stops.
With this patent, future iPhones could reach 20 stops, very close to the human eye!
How Will Apple Do This?
Apple is using two layers in the image sensor:
The first layer captures the light.
The second smart layer analyzes how much light is captured.
But remember: this is just a patent. It may or may not become a real product.
Future iPhone Impact
If it does become a real product, then the next iPhone might be the most expensive — and you’ll probably be buying it in installments! 🤣🤣
